We are looking for a Bar Manager to join our team and lead the drinks offer in all respects as well as having exposure to managing aspects of the wider business. We are looking for someone with a passion for cocktails who is knowledgeable about wine and who can help our team grow and thrive.

You’re hands-on, organised and able to stay calm under pressure in a high-volume, high-standard setting.

Due to the location of the venue the successful applicant must have a full UK driving license with reliable access to their own vehicle.

• Provide strong, hands-on leadership to the bar team, setting clear expectations, driving high performance, and maintaining accountability in a fast-paced environment. Coach and develop team members through structured training, on-shift guidance, and regular performance feedback.
• High volume cocktail experience, spec testing and standards, proven experience in running/managing a cocktail bar, running regular quality-control checks, leading tasting sessions, and ensuring every team member delivers consistent premium standards—especially during peak service pressures.
• Take full ownership of stock management, including ordering, cellar management, regular stock counts, variance investigation/reporting, waste reduction and implementing control systems to protect margin and profitability.
• Readiness accountability, ensuring your team are fully prepared for busy trading periods through strong organisation, planning, and ensuring we have everything we need when we need it.
• Lead end-of-day, including cashing up, safe counts, compliance and kitchen checks, bar closes and ensuring all operational standards are met before handover.
• Work collaboratively with the senior management team, contributing to sales strategies, labour planning, service-flow improvements and team culture initiatives to keep the venue performing at its best.
• Lead shift execution on the bar, acting as the anchor point for service by coordinating team positioning, managing ticket flow, customer service, maintaining pace, and ensuring seamless communication with the floor team.
• Maintain a strong presence during service, anticipating operational issues before they arise and responding quickly to maintain guest experience and team efficiency – being a hands on leader working shoulder to shoulder with your team.

For this role previous supervisory or management experience in a cocktail focussed business is essential and having you own transportation is crucial due to the location and nature of the business.
