Our opening and service times
The Charleston is open Sunday to Thursday from 9am until 11pm and Friday and Saturday until midnight.

Travelling by car
We don’t have a dedicated car park, but Bakewell is well served by public car parks within easy walking distance of the restaurant.
By bus
Travelling by public transport? There are bus stops right outside, making The Charleston one of the easiest places to reach in the Peak District without a car.
Planning your visit
Dining bookings are usually seated upstairs in our restaurant space, where you’ll enjoy a full menu experience in the heart of the action.
Outdoor seating is weather dependent, if you’re happy to take your chances, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Our ground floor and outdoor tables are available on a walk-in basis and perfect for more relaxed drinks, light bites, or a spontaneous visit.
You’re always welcome at our bar! There’s no need to book if you’re simply popping in for a drink… or two. We keep plenty of space for walk-ins.
