What do we need?
We are seeking a friendly Host to join our team at The Charleston. If you are someone who loves to make people feel welcome, enjoys the buzz of a busy restaurant, and has a knack for creating great first impressions then we would love to meet you.
Due to the location of the venue the successful applicant must have a full UK driving license with reliable access to their own vehicle.
About the job:
You will be the face of our establishment, the friendly voice on the phone, and the captain of our ship when it comes to reservations and guest services. You will:
- Provide warm welcomes to all our guests, greeting them with a smile and making them feel special from the moment they walk through the door to when they leave.
- Handle reservations like a pro, ensuring accuracy and managing the flow of guests to maximise dining experience.
- Be the go-to person for guest inquiries, whether it is menu assistance, special requests or local recommendations.
- You will be a master multi-tasker with the ability to juggle multiple tasks from managing the booking system to coordinating with the kitchen and serving staff.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and charm, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
- Be a team player and support our Front of House team during busy periods.
We provide full and ongoing training for all our teams so while experience is a plus, we firmy believe that the right personality and attitude are what truly matter.
